Membership in
the CCN is open to anyone. One
becomes a member by official affiliation with the community and in so doing
seeks to live by the Common Discipline and participate in a conscious ministry
of reconciliation.
An Individual can be an isolated member who relates to the network and engages in an active ministry of reconciliation.. Individuals are introduced to the Common Discipline and encouraged to follow it.
Centers are those organizations which have been recognized by the presentation of a Cross of Nails. These are usually groups which have been long established.
Chapters are newer organizations which meet on a regular basis for fellowship, worship, and discussion. They are encouraged to follow the Common Discipline.
A New Coventry Fellowship is a faith-based organization. It could be a church, youth or campus ministry, or other fellowship that seeks to serve in God’s work of healing the brokenness of Creation in personal, religious, social, political, racial, generational or environmental life. These fellowships are nominated by any member of the CCN and recognized by the Board. It is understood that the fellowship will become dues-paying CCN members and that they wish to embrace the Common Discipline. We ask them to receive a visitor from the CCN Board periodically. We ask them to share with us, at least once a year, the continuing story of their reconciling work. It is our hope that they will renew our partnership at least every three years and we ask that they agree to support our entire network with their prayers. The NCF receives a graphic of the Reconciliation Statue which stands in the Coventry Cathedral ruins, a park in Hiroshima, and in the Chapel of Reconciliation at the site of the former Berlin Wall. They are supported by prayer as they are added to our Cycle of Prayer. We offer our communications network for them to share their story and we seek opportunities for them to meet and share with other CCN communities.

CCN has always operated on a bare minimum of overhead and most of its work and ministry is carried out by volunteers.
