Raleigh, North Carolina CCN Center

HISTORY:  In 1977 Pullen Memorial Baptist Church was made a center of the Community of the Cross of Nails.

ACTIVITIES:
Meetings:  The Cross of Nails Reconciliation Fellowship meets about every two months. This mission group, formed in early 2008, spearheads Pullen’s focus on reconciliation both inside the church walls and beyond.

International Connections: Pullen maintains close relationships with:
     Primera Iglesia Bautista, Matanzas, Cuba
Evangelical Baptist Church, Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia
     Zimbabwe Baptist Seminary, Gweru
A Ministry of Sharing (AMOS) Health and Hope, Nicaragua

Foyers:  Foyers are part of Pullen’s connection to the international Community of the CCN. They are small groups (approximately six to eight adults—plus children, in family foyers) who meet once a month in each other’s homes for a simple meal prepared by the host, and for conversation.  New members and those considering membership are especially invited to join a foyer, as the groups are intended to be a low-key gateway into the life of the congregation. Pullen foyers have functioned continuously since 1979.
